Here are the thoughts of just some of those involved in Australia's successful qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Finals in South Africa.

PIM VERBEEK: "It's a strange feeling. You don't really have the idea that you qualifed for the World Cup, that feeling will come in the coming days. The boys are feeling fantastic. They did a very professional job."

BEN BUCKLEY: "I think it's another fantastic milestone for football in Australia. Clearly we're thrilled and delighted with the result, we should all be very proud."

LUCAS NEILL: "There's a lot of talk about how we got their and the performances, but let's be honest, two games to go, which country in the world would not take this position?"

TIM CAHILL: "Hopefully everyone appreciates it, we know they do. This is a reward for Australia, this is a reward for everyone, especially the kids, they can live all their dreams."

HARRY KEWELL: "A lot of people weren't confident that we were going to make this World Cup and we have proved them wrong tonight."

MARK BRESCIANO: "It was a better feeling last time being at home, but now we're going back home, we've got two games in Australia so we can celebrate then."

VINCE GRELLA: "Talking 10 years ago, Australia's dream was to make the World Cup; now we've made two in a row and I think we shouldn' forget how important it is"

MARK SCHWARZER: "It's been a very, very tough journey and one that's been extremely enjoyable ... It's been a great effort by the team, the squad how professional everyone has been."

CARL VALERI: 'It's very satisfying, it was a big goal of ours and mine personally. I wish I had my family and friends here with me to celebrate with me."

CHRIS COYNE: "We've done back to back and we can build on that and show everybody what a fantastic footballing nation Australia is."

JOSH KENNEDY: "We knew what we had to do and we went out there and got it done. It's fantastic this has been our goal since last world cup and to do that with a couple of games in hard is fantastic."
