In good news, Socceroos Mitchell Langerak and Robbie Kruse have started for their German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart in Turkey overnight.
In wet conditions, Langerak has finally made his club debut in a 2-1 friendly win over Turkish club Antalyaspor.
The Bundesliga club is ramping up preparations for the second half of the season during the European winter break.
Langerak joined Stuttgart from Borussia Dortmund during the off-season but knee and thigh injuries have kept him out of the side, who are now being led by Jurgen Kramny on a permanent basis.
Robbie Kruse also started the game in Turkey.
