Socceroo keeper Mat Ryan’s club Valencia have drawn 1-1 with Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday night in their La Liga clash at the Estadio Mestalla making it two draws from two to start their campaign.
In the first home game of the season for Valencia, both goals came just before the break in front of 42,000 fans.
An equaliser right on half-time from Valencia’s Alvaro Negredo cancelled out Lucas’s opener minutes earlier.
A red card to Valencia’s Antonio Barragan in the final ten minutes ensured a nervy end to the game.
But Valencia held out in the final stages to record consecutive draws to start their campaign.
