Mooy: 'Bad day' for Huddersfield after Premier League loss to Bournemouth

Caltex Socceroo Aaron Mooy described it as a "bad day" after his side Huddersfield Town lost 4-0 away to Bournemouth in the English Premier League overnight.

Mooy, fresh from helping the Socceroos qualify for a fourth consecutive World Cup, was rushed back into David Wagner's starting XI despite flying in from Australia just a couple of days before the game.

But a hat-trick to Callum Wilson powered the Cherries to the win - incredibly after playing the second half with just ten men following a red card to Simon Francis.

Mooy told HTTV after the game:

"We started really well but didn't take any of our chances. And then got done by two set pieces.

"We've got to be clinical. There's nothing we can do. It's a bad day and we have to move on."
