Milos Degenek returns to Red Star Belgrade

Milos Degenek has returned to Red Star Belgrade for a third stint with the club.

The move back to Serbia comes after the Subway Socceroos defender spent 18 months in MLS with Colombus Crew.

Degenek first joined the club in 2018, and has already amass over 100 appearances for the historic club, which Serbia-born Degenek grew up supporting.

The 29-year-old, who represented Australia at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, is relishing the opportunity to return to his boyhood club, which are set to play Champions League once again this season.

“Miloš has been a solid professional over the past 18 months and for him, this was an opportunity to move closer to family, which was something he desired,” Colombus Crew president Tim Bezbatchenko.

“We appreciate Milos’ contributions to the Black & Gold, and we wish him the best in his return to Serbia.”
