Mathew Leckie’s departure from Europe is on hold with the Socceroos striker suffering an illness that has made him unable to fly.
Leckie was due to arrive this afternoon from Germany but medical advice saw him not board the flight.
Leckie has not been ruled out of the two 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at this stage and the situation will be reassessed in coming days.
The Socceroos matches against Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh will be broadcast exclusively LIVE on FOX SPORTS and on a one hour delay on SBS.
