Juric joins Roda JC

Socceroo striker Tomi Juric has officially joined Eredivisie side Roda JC, with the Dutch club confirming the move on Saturday night.

The former Western Sydney Wanderers striker passed his medical this week and will immediately link up with his new club.

Juric is likely to be one of three Aussies to play for Roda this season, joining midfielder Rostyn Griffiths, while youngster Daniel De Silva is reportedly set to get a loan at the club from AS Roma.

Juric had been on the lookout for a new club ever since he was released by the Wanderers at the end of the last Hyundai A-League campaign.

The 24-year-old had a host of suitors in Asia but was after a dream move to Europe, securing it with the Dutch club.

Tomi Juric celebrates the Socceroos' Asian Cup triumph over Korea Republic.

"After weeks of negotiations, we finally manage to contract Tomi Juric for Roda JC - obviously we are delighted,” Roda's general manager told the club website.

“Tomi is a strong attacker that fits with his way of playing with our club."
