Iredale to make fresh start at German club VfL Wolfsburg
Teenage Australian forward John Iredale has landed with German outfit VfL Wolfsburg.
The 19-year-old, who was included in Caltex Socceroos head coach Graham Arnold’s inaugural training camp in Turkey in September 2018, will join up with the Wolves' under-23 side for the 2019/20 campaign.

ULTIMATE GUIDE: AFC qualifying draw for FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar
The former Sydney FC prospect was most recently with SC Heerenveen’s under-19 and under-21 teams and left the Netherlands at the end of his contract in June after suffering a foot injury.
Iredale told FTBL in June he had his sights set on making the Olyroos roster for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers and spoke confidently of breaking back into the senior squad and earning his first Caltex Socceroos cap.
"I was disappointed I missed that chance earlier this year through injury," he said.
"So to get the chance to qualify for the Olympics is something you can only dream of as a young boy.
"The possibility of getting a Socceroos call-up is huge. I believe in myself, that if I can be playing well regularly in a good competition then there’s no doubt I’ll get a look in at some stage."
Iredale turned out in all four of Australia's games at the AFC U-19 Championships in Indonesia in October 2018.
