Mathew Leckie scored his first goal for new club Hertha Berlin in a 2-0 win over FC Carl Zeiss Jena.
It took just 30 minutes for Leckie to open his account for the Bundesliga outfit, rounding off a move which involved some good play from Julius Kade and Maurice Covic.
Maclaren also found the net for his 2.Bundesliga side Darmstadt 98.
Darmstadt were involved in two matches over a busy weekend, defeating SV Wallern 4-3, while also accounting for Turkish club Rizespor 2-1.
