Japan jumped two spots to rise to number 35 in the world and within site of Australia, with important World Cup qualifiers coming up at the end of the month.
Australia-s next opponent Uzbekistan is ranked No.74, dropping two spots.
Spain remains a clear leader out in front of the rankings, some 300 points ahead of Germany in second. There was no change to the top five, with the Netherlands, Italy and Brazil all trying to chase down the Spanish side.
