Thomas Deng spoke to the media as he celebrated his 26th birthday and revealed he was excited to be back in the Subway Socceroos' camp following last year's FIFA World Cup.

It's a really good feeling to be back in camp, since the World Cup finished, it's good to see the boys back together and the staff as well.
Deng on the support back home...
We saw all the support that we got back home and you know, we kind of brought the nation together. We saw the videos at Fed (Federation) Square and you know, we just want to replicate that same same energy and hopefully see a lot of fans out.
