Socceroos Abroad is back with club action returning in July, and the players have until September to impress Graham Arnold for the next squad.

Danish Superliga
Season starts: July 20/21
After sealing a move from the German Bundesliga, John Iredale (#640) will ply his trade for Aalborg BK in the Danish Superliga when they kick off their campaign against FC Nordsjælland on July 20.
Aalborg secured promotion back to Denmark's top league after finishing first in the 1st Divison last season.

Recent Socceroos squad member, Paul Izzo will also compete in the Danish Superliga this season. After departing Melbourne Victory, Izzo penned a three-year deal with Randers FC for an undisclosed fee.
Mohamed Toure (cap #636) will also line up for Randers after joining the club from Ligue 1 outfit Reims for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old forward joined the club on a four-year contract until the end of the 2027/28 season, having spent the past two seasons in France with Reims' B and first team and last campaign on loan at Paris FC.
Randers take on Vejle BK in their Danish Superliga opener on 22 July.

Serbian Superliga
Season starts: July 20/21
Milos Degenek (#585) will feature in Serbia once more as FK Crvena Zvezda open their campaign against Jedinstvo UB on July 21.
Red Star Belgrade won their eighth league title in a row last season.
Swiss Super League
Season starts: July 20/21
After shaking off an injury that interrupted his last campaign, Awer Mabil (#597) will line up for Grasshopper Club Zurich this season. They face Lugano on July 21, hoping to build on their 11th-placed finish last time out.
Indian Super League
Cup starts: July 26
Season starts: September (TBC)
The 2024-25 Indian football season will begin with the Durand Cup on July 26 while the Indian Super League (ISL) kicks off in September, according to the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
Jason Cummings (#626) and Dimitrios Petratos (#593) will line up once again for Mohun Bagan Super Giant when they kick off their league campaign in September. They will also be joined by new teammate Jamie Maclaren (#584).
The 30-year-old departed the A-League Men as the competition's all-time top-scorer with 154 goals in 233 matches, winning five A-League Golden Boots.
Belgian Pro League
Season starts: July 27/28/29
After a solid debut campaign in Europe, Jordan Bos (#632) will line up again for KVC Westerlo when they face Cercle Brugge on July 29. Westerlo finished the campaign in 11th as Bos contributed with three goals and one assist.
Elsewhere in the Belgian Pro League, Aiden O'Neill (#629) will also feature again for Standard Liege when they face Genk on July 28 after he also had an impressive start to life in Belgium.
Croatian Football League
Season starts: August 3/4
After a disappointing campaign with NK Rudes, Fran Karacic (#607) has swapped clubs in Croatia after he joined NK Lokomotiva Zagreb in the summer transfer window.
Lokomotiva will be hoping to build on their fifth-placed finish last season when they kick off their campaign on August 4 against Rijeka.
Scotland
This season six current Socceroos will ply their trade in Scotland's top league, while two former Australian national team players will play in the Championship.
Scottish Premiership
Season starts: August 3/4
Fresh from sealing a move from St Mirren, Ryan Strain (#624) should debut for Dundee United when they return to the Scottish Premiership against Dundee on August 4.
The Australian international, who has six caps to his name, spent the past two campaigns with St Mirren where he amassed 64 appearances, five goals and 10 assists across all competitions.

Elsewhere in Scotland, Nathaniel Atkinson (#620, Kye Rowles (#622) and Cameron Devlin (#625) will once again feature for Hearts when they face Rangers on August 3.
Martin Boyle (#599) and Lewis Miller (#635) will also line up again for Hibernian as they travel to St Mirren to open their season on August 4. Boyle has already been in fine form with Hibs during the Scottish League Cup group stage, scoring three goals in the opening two matches.
Scottish Championship
Season starts: August 3/4
Ryan McGowan (#546) will ply his trade in the Scottish Championship this season after two seasons at St Mirren. The 34-year-old should feature for his new club Livingston when they face Dunfermline Athletic FC on August 3.
Ryan's Brother Dylan McGowan (#590) will also feature in the Championship again for Hamilton Academical FC when they face Ayr on the same day.
England
This season eight current Socceroos will ply their trade in England along with one retired Socceroo.
EFL Championship
Season starts: August 10/11
Riley McGree's (cap #609) Middlesbrough open the season against Swansea at home on August 10. The midfielder missed the back half of last season after suffering a foot issue while on international duty with Australia in April so he will be hoping to get back to his best at Boro alongside fellow Aussie Tom Glover.
Despite the injury interrupted season, McGree is an integral part of Michael Carrick's plans and signed a new four-year extension with the Teesside outfit.
Elsewhere, Portsmouth return to the Championship for the first time since 2012 when they travel to Leeds United on August 10. New loanee signing Samuel Silvera (cap #634) could appear alongside Kusini Yengi (cap #638) during Pompey's return.

Callum Elder (#614) could also be in action for Derby County when they begin their campaign against Blackburn on the same day.
EFL League One
Season starts: August 10/11
In League One, Keanu Baccus (cap #628) will hope to earn his debut for Mansfield Town when they play the season opener against Barnsley on August 10. Baccus joined Mansfield from St Mirren in Scotland during the summer window.
Gethin Jones (cap #639) should also feature when Bolton targets a promotion campaign against Leyton Orient on August 11.
Premier League
Season starts: August 16/17
Joe Gauci (cap #631) will be hoping he can make his debut for Aston Villa at some point this season after the 24-year-old featured on the bench numerous times last season. Villa open their campaign against West Ham on August 20.
Elsewhere in England's top flight, Cameron Burgess (cap #633) and retired Socceroo Massimo Luongo (cap #571) could also feature for Ipswich Town in the Premier League as they make their eagerly anticipated return after 22 years away when they host Liverpool on August 17.
Also, Harry Souttar's (cap #606) Leicester City host Tottenham to open their Premier League campaign on August 20.
After returning from his loan spell at Portsmouth, Alexander Robertson (cap #630) could also feature in Manchester City's matchday squad against Chelsea on August 19.
Garang Kuol (#627) has also returned to Newcastle United after a loan spell in the Netherlands last season. Newcastle host Southampton on August 17.
Italy's Serie A
Cup starts: August 12
Season starts: August 18/19
Socceroos captain Mathew Ryan (cap #555) will play for AS Roma this season. The 32-year-old joined the Giallorossi as a free agent after 18 months in the Eredivisie with AZ Alkmaar where he has agreed to a one-year contract for the 2024/25 campaign with an option reportedly for a second.
Roma open their Serie A season against Cagliari FC on August 19.

After securing promotion from Serie B last season, Alessandro Circati (#637) will feature for Parma in Italy's top league. Parma kick off their season against Palermo in the Copa Italia first round on August 12 before starting their Serie A campaign the following week against Fiorentina on August 18.
Circati was an instrumental pillar in Parma's backline last season, starting 27 of his 28 appearances in Serie B. The centre-back also played every minute in his team's Coppa Italia run to the Round of 16.
Ajdin Hrustic (#589) has also returned to Hellas Verona after a loan spell in the Netherlands. Verona play in the Copa Italia first round on August 12 before starting their season against Napoli on August 19.
German Bundesliga
Cup starts: August 17
Season starts: August 24/25
Connor Metcalfe (cap #611) and Jackson Irvine (cap #568) will ply their trade in the Bundesliga after featuring in a title-winning campaign with St Pauli last season.
Promotion-winning coach Fabian Hürzeler has left the club to join Brighton and Hove Albion. As a result, Alexander Blessin will now lead the Hamburg-based club in their first Bundesliga campaign in 13 years. He comes to the Millerntor from Belgian cup winners and league runners-up Union Saint-Gilloise.
St Pauli face Hallescher on August 17 in the DFB-Pokal Cup before kicking off their season against Heidenheim on August 24.
Nestory Irankunda (#643) has also linked up with his new Bayern Munich teammates but it remains to be seen which squad he will feature in or if he will make a loan more. Bayern face Ulm in the Cup before starting the quest to regain the league title against Wolfsburg on August 24.
Should he begin the campaign with Bayern Munich II, the team he has been currently training with, their Regionalliga Bayern season kicks off this Friday against SV Wacker.
French Ligue 1
Season starts: August 18/19
Denis Genreau (#610) will line up again for Toulouse FC in France's Ligue 1 in 2024. Genreau will be hoping to nail down a sustained run in the team after an injury-interrupted campaign last season where he only managed to make 15 appearances across all competitions.
Toulouse open their season against Nantes on August 18.
Mohamed Toure (#636) has also returned to Stade de Reims after a loan spell in Ligue 2 with Paris FC last season. Stade de Reims face LOSC Lille on the same day.
Saudi Pro League
Season starts: August (TBC)
Craig Goodwin (#562) will again line up for Al Wehda in the Saudi Pro League when they kick off their season in August. The fixtures are due to be released later this month.
Goodwin scored six goals and registered three assists as Al Wehda finished 13th last season.
