Socceroos rise in most recent FIFA World Rankings

June's victories over Jordan, the UAE and Peru have seen the Socceroos rise up the FIFA World Rankings charts.

After qualifying for a fifth-straight FIFA World Cup by defeating 21st-ranked nation Peru in Doha, Australia's ranking has increased by three to 39th.

This sees Australia named as the fourth-highest ranked nation in the Asian Football Confederation.

Australia's opponents in Group D of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 are France (rank #4), Denmark (rank #10) and Tunisia (rank #30).
