On the latest episode of The Socceroos Podcast, we chat with Socceroo cap #601, James Jeggo. 

After almost five years playing in Austria’s top flight, the Socceroos midfielder decided to take up a new challenge in joining Greek Super League side Aris FC.

So far the move has paid off in a big way, with James leading his side into the play-off rounds, where Aris will vie for a place in the UEFA Champions League qualification rounds.

James talks through his experiences in Greece, his future goals for his club and country, and pays tribute to good Socceroos mate Rhyan Grant ahead of his 200th A-League game.

Also, in light of Grant’s World’s Greatest Shave campaign and W-League player Rebeka Stott’s cancer diagnosis, James shares his experiences of going through cancer as a teenager and how he overcame the incredible challenges to have a happy life and football career.
