The Socceroos have picked up their first win of the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019™, showing their class with a 3-0 win over Palestine in Dubai on Friday night.
After the opening game loss against Jordan, Graham Arnold's side responded in emphatic fashion with goals from Jamie Maclaren, Awer Mabil and substitute Apostolos Giannou.
The result moves Australia into second spot in Group B ahead of the final match against Syria next week.
