Norway squad named ahead of Caltex Socceroos friendly

Norway manager Lars Lagerbäck has today named a 24-man squad for next week’s friendly against the Caltex Socceroos in Oslo.

Ex-Real Madrid starlet Martin Ødegaard has been included in the squad, along with Bournemouth striker Joshua King and Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen.

Mat Leckie’s Hertha Berlin teammate Rune Jarstein was also named, while defender Kristoffer Ajer - a teammate of Tom Rogic’s at Celtic - is a new addition in the squad.

Jackson Irvine’s Hull City colleague Markus Henriksen is another familiar face in the Norway team.

Norway host the Socceroos at the Ullevaal Stadion on March 24 before travelling to Elbasan to tackle Albania in a friendly three days later.
