Caltex Socceroos striker Jamie Maclaren found the net overnight as Hibernian won an eight-goal thriller against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership.
Maclaren, on loan at Hibs from German club SV Darmstadt, scored his side’s third goal in a 5-3 win at Easter Road.
With scores locked at 2-2 just after the hour mark, the 24-year-old showed his predatory instincts with a superb finish to edge Hibernian in front.
John McGinn played a lofted ball into the box, with Maclaren taking one touch to control on his thigh, before diverting the ball past the keeper and just inside the post.
It was his fifth goal in just 12 appearances for Hibs since making the mid-season switch.
Also in the SPL, Ryan Edwards played the last 26 minutes as Partick Thistle came away from St Johnstone with a 1-1 draw.
In the Bundesliga, Mathew Leckie continued his recent promising form with another 90 minutes for Hertha Berlin.
Hertha looked destined for defeat against Augsburg as they trailed 2-0 with just six minutes left at Berlin’s Olympic Stadium.
But late goals from Vedad Ibisevic and Davie Selke saw them snatch a 2-2 draw to keep them in 10th spot on the Bundesliga ladder, just ahead of Augsburg.
And it Switzerland, Trent Sainsbury continues to get valuable minutes under his belt for Grasshopper Zurich.
The Caltex Socceroos defender put in another full shift as his side came away from Lausanne with a hard-fought 1-0 win.
But Tomi Juric was absent for Luzern as they went down 2-1 against Young Boys.
