To celebrate the Centenary of the Socceroos, Woolworths has partnered with Football Australia and the Royal Australian Mint to bring customers a special Socceroos Centenary $2 coin, available in-store from Wednesday, 14 September for one week only.
The central design elements of this coloured coin emulate a football. The coin features a green printed version of the Socceroos logo, with a smaller version of the logo in the centre.
Woolworths Supermarkets will release the 2022 Socceroos Centenary $2 coin through registers, where customers will be able to collect a coin as part of their change, when paying cash for groceries.
Customers should keep an eye out for the limited edition Socceroos Centenary $2 Coin in their change during their next shop to collect a little part of Australian football history.
