Joeys make it two from two with 3-0 win over Laos

Goals to Alexander Menelaou, Bernardo Oliviera, and Adrian Segecic have helped lift Australia’s Joeys to their second win from as many starts at the 2019 AFF U-15 Championship in Chonburi, Thailand.

Trevor Morgan’s youngsters, who defeated Cambodia 3-1 in their opener on Sunday, led 1-0 over Laos at half-time before two second stanza strikes ensured that the team claimed a 3-0 victory and moved to six points from their first two Group B encounters.

The Joeys will have a day’s rest from match play on Wednesday before featuring in their third fixture of the tournament against Malaysia, who have also won two from two, on Thursday afternoon (local time).
