The Subway Socceroos will take on Bahrain in an international friendly match in Abu Dhabi as part of preparations for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™.
The clash at Baniyas Stadium kicks off at 1:00am on Sunday, 7 January (AEDT) and will be the sixth meeting between the two nations, while serving as a chance to fine tune things ahead of the tournament proper commencing a week later.
Graham Arnold named a strong 26-player squad for the tournament with the Aussies determined to win the men's competition for a second time.
Australia have been pitted in Group B alongside India, Syria, and Uzbekistan.
