Australia has been drawn into Group B for this year’s AFC U23 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2022™.
Thursday night’s draw in Tashkent confirmed that the Australia U23's will come up against Jordan, Iraq and Kuwait in the group stages of the tournament scheduled for June 1-19, 2022.

Australia secured its spot at the AFC U23 Asian Cup via Group G in October 2021.
Following the withdrawal of China and Brunei, the side coached on an interim basis by Trevor Morgan faced a two-legged tie with Indonesia, played on neutral ground in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
A young squad secured advancement comfortable fashion with a 4-2 aggregate victory.
