Aussies Abroad Preview: Edinburgh Derby - featuring five Socceroos

It is another bumper weekend of Aussies Abroad action as five Socceroos could face off when Heart of Midlothian meet Hibernian in the Edinburgh Derby.

Subway Socceroos

Starting in the Scottish Premiership, Cameron DevlinKye Rowles, Nathaniel Atkinson and Garang Kuol could be in action when Heart of Midlothian face James Jeggo's Hibernian on Saturday at 9:30pm (AEST) in the Edinburgh derby. 

Hearts parted company with boss Robbie Neilson after their losing streak extended to five matches after a 2-0 defeat at home to St Mirren. 

The fan-owned club made the decision to change their manager, appointing Steven Naismith on an interim basis as they try to get back on track in the race for third place and access to European group-stage football.

Hearts are currently fourth in the Scottish Premiership, five points above Hibernian.

Elsewhere in the Scottish Premiership, Aaron Mooy is likely to feature again when Celtic face Kilmarnock on Sunday at 9pm (AEST). 

Celtic moved 12 points clear at the top of the table after beating Rangers 3-2 last weekend. 

Keanu Baccus and Ryan Strain's St Mirren face Rangers while Aziz Behich's Dundee United will also be in action against Motherwell on Sunday at 12am (AEST).

In the Scottish Championship, Dylan McGowan is likely to feature when Hamilton Academical face Queens Park on Saturday at 4:45am (AEST).  McGowan also played a full game on Wednesday as Hamilton lost 2-0 to Greenock Morton.

In the Premier League, Harry Souttar could return to the lineup when Leicester City travel to Manchester City on Sunday at 2:30am (AEST). 

This week, Leicester appointed Dean Smith as manager until the end of the season as the club attempts to avoid relegation to the Championship. Smith will lead 19th-placed Leicester in their final eight matches.

In the English Championship, Riley McGree could feature when Middlesbrough host Norwich City on Saturday at 5am (AEST).

Middlesbrough are now winless in its last three league matches after Michael Carrick's men were held to a 2-2 draw against Bristol City on Tuesday. 

With a top-two finish looking like an increasingly distant prospect, Boro will now be aiming to clinch their promotion play-off spot.

Bailey Wright could also appear in Rotherham United's tie against Luton Town on Sunday at 12am (AEST).

Meanwhile, Tom Rogic's West Brom face Stoke City on Sunday at 12am (AEST). 

Kenny Dougall could also be in action when Blackpool face Wigan on Sunday at 12am (AEST). Blackpool are seven points from safety, with just five matches remaining of their season.

In League One, Massimo Luongo is likely to feature for Ipswich Town FC when they face Charlton on Sunday at 12am (AEST).

In Premier League 2 Division 1, Alexander Robertson could feature for Manchester City U21 when they face Chelsea U21 on Sunday at 9pm (AEST). 

In the Netherlands, Maty Ryan's AZ Alkmaar face Fortuna Sittard on Monday at 4am (AEDT). AZ have dropped to fourth and are winless in three matches. 

In Germany, both Connor Metcalfe and Jackson Irvine will be looking to continue their impressive run of form when St Pauli host Eintracht Braunschweig on Sunday at 9:30pm (AEST) in the 2. Bundesliga. 

St Pauli made it 10 wins in a row by beating Heidenheim 1-0 on last weekend and moved fourth in the 2 Bundesliga, four points behind third-placed Heidenheim. 

In France, Denis Genreau will be looking to back up his positive display after his first Ligue 1 start last weekend when Toulouse FC face Lyon on Saturday at 5am (AEST). 

In Czechia, Awer Mabil could be in action for AC Sparta Prague when they face Slavia Praha on Sunday at 3am (AEST). 

In Serie B, Fran Karacic could feature when Brescia Calcio face SPAL on Saturday at 10pm (AEST). 

In Belgium, Jason Davidson's KAS Eupen face Zulte Waregem in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday at 12am (AEST). 

In Norway, Nick D'Agostino is a chance to feature alongside Gianni Stensness when Viking FK look to bounce back from their opening-day defeat in the Eliteserien when they face Lillestrøm SK on Sunday at 2am (AEST). 

Over to Asia, where Thomas Deng's Albirex Niigata face Avispa Fukuoka on Saturday at 3pm (AEST) in the J1 League. 

Elsewhere in the J1League, Mitch Langerak's Nagoya Grampus face Kawasaki on Saturday at 4pm (AEST). 

In the J2 League, Mitch Duke will not be in the squad when Machida Zelvia face Oita Trinita on Sunday, with the club confirming that the Socceroos striker is set for a sting of up to six weeks on the sidelines due to injury. 

The K1 League also continues with Harrison Delbridge's Incheon United in action against Gangwon on Sunday at 3pm (AEST). 

In the Israeli Premier League play-offs, Nikita Rukavytsya could appear for Maccabi Haifa when they face Hapoel Jerusalem FC on Sunday at 1:30am (AEST). 

The MLS season also continues with Milos Degenek expected to feature again for Columbus Crew against New England on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST). 

Elsewhere in the US, Brad Smith could also be in action when Houston Dynamo FC face NY Red Bulls, while Alex Gersbach could feature for Colorado Rapids again when they face Charlotte on Sunday at 9:30am (AEST).

In the English Championship, goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic is likely to be on the bench when Huddersfield face Swansea on Sunday at 12am (AEST). 

In League One, Caleb Watts could be in action for Morecambe against Wycombe on Sunday at 12am (AEST).

In League Two, Lachlan Brook could feature for Crewe Alexandra when they face Walsall on Sunday at 12am (AEST).

In the Professional Development League, Matt Dench could appear for Charlton Athletic U21 when they face Birmingham City U21 on Monday at 11pm (AEST). 

In the German 3. Liga, John Iredale could feature again in Germany's 3. Liga when SV Wehen Wiesbaden face 1860 Munich on Saturday at 10pm (AEST).  

In the German Regionalliga West, Jacob Italiano is likely to feature for Borussia Mönchengladbach II against Straelen on Saturday at 10pm (AEST).

In Scotland, Lewis Miller could be in action when Hibernian face Heart of Midlothian on Saturday at 9:30pm (AEST) in the Edinburgh derby.

In Norway, Patrick Yazbek could appear when Viking FK  look to bounce back from their opening-day defeat in the Eliteserien when they face Lillestrøm SK on Sunday at 2am (AEST). 

Dylan Ryan could also be in action in the Eerste Divisie when FC Den Bosch face Helmond Sport on Saturday at 4am (AEST).
