Subway Olyroos win opening WAFF U-23 Championship game against Iraq

The Subway Olyroos have begun their West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-23 Championship – Saudi Arabia 2024 campaign in winning fashion, courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Iraq U-23.

First-half goals from Louis D'Arrigo and Alou Kuol had the Aussies in a commanding position after 15 minutes before Iraq pulled one back from Halgwrd Jaafar four minutes after half time.
