Mooy up for PFA Fans' Player of the Month for November
Caltex Socceroo Aaron Mooy has been nominated for the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for November following his impressive performances for Huddersfield Town.
The 28-year-old played the full 90 minutes in all of Huddersfield’s games this month, and topped off a cracking month with a brace to down Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0.
Following that result, which was the Terriers’ second win of the season, Huddersfield’s manager David Wagner praised Mooy’s contribution.
“Aaron Mooy is a top-class player,” the German boss told the BBC.
“He has this calmness on the ball. His decision-making was great. You will rarely find a player with such good technique and vision who is prepared to work so hard for the team.”
Mooy is in some great company too for this month's nominations. He is joined by the likes of Manchester City's Raheem Sterling and David Silva, as well as Harry Kane from Tottenham and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.
