Mooy learns who he'll face in the Championship's opening round

Caltex Socceroos star Aaron Mooy has learned who he’ll face on the opening day of the EFL Championship 2019/20 season with Huddersfield Town.

The Terriers – relegated from the Premier League last campaign after two years in the top flight - will host Derby County at The John Smith’s Stadium on August 5.

Mooy, 28, has spent the past three seasons with Huddersfield, having initially joined the club on loan from Manchester City in 2016.

Elsewhere, Massimo Luongo could be up against recent Caltex Socceroos call-up Harry Souttar when his Queens Park Rangers team open their campaign away to Stoke City on August 3.

Jackson Irvine’s Hull City are also on the road, travelling to Swansea City on the same day.

Meanwhile, Bristol City captain and Australia defender Bailey Wright will lead his club into action at home to Leeds United on August 4.
