Mitchell Duke replaces Apostolos Giannou in Caltex Socceroos squad

Football Federation Australia (FFA) has announced that Western Sydney Wanderers attacker Mitchell Duke has been called into the Caltex Socceroos’ squad for Thursday’s (local time) FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ qualifier against Jordan in Amman. 

Duke replaces Cyprus-based attacker Apostolos Giannou who has had to withdraw from the squad due to a minor injury.

Duke departed Sydney on Saturday evening (local time) to link with Graham Arnold’s squad in the Middle East. 

Australia’s match against Jordan will be broadcast live in Australia on FOX SPORTS, ABC TV, Kayo Sports, and via the My Football Live App, Live, Fast and Data Free for Telstra mobile customers.
