Caltex Socceroos star Mat Leckie got his name on the scoresheet as Hertha Berlin secured an easy win in the Bundesliga overnight.
The speedster netted his side’s second goal as Berlin cruised past Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 away from home.
Substitute Solomon Kalou slipped Leckie in behind with the winger outpacing his defender before calmly slotting past Lukáš Hrádecký.
It was Leckie’s first Bundesliga goal since September and his fifth of the campaign overall.
The win leaves Hertha in ninth spot on the Bundesliga table.
In Belgium, Danny Vukovic started and helped Genk to a 2-1 upset win over reigning Champions Anderlecht at home.
Genk went ahead early through Dieumerci Ndongala before Lazar Markovic pulled Anderlecht level on 20 minutes.
But a strike from Leandro Trossard on the hour mark proved the difference as Genk secured a thrilling win.
Elsewhere, Aziz Behich played a full 90 minutes as Bursaspor secured a comfortable 4-1 win over Karabükspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
In Japan, Milos Degenek scored a crucial equaliser as Yokohama F Marinos fought back from 3-1 down to secure a thrilling 4-4 draw at home to Shonan Bellmare.
Mitch Langerak started for Nagoya Grampus but could do little as his side fell 3-0 to a Lukas Podolski-inspired Vissel Kobe outfit in the J-League.
