Australia U23 forward Alou Kuol is one of 11 players nominated for the FIFA Puskás Award after FIFA revealed the candidates shortlisted for The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2022.
Kuol scored a stunning scorpion style goal for the Subway Olyroos in June last year against Iraq U23 in the group stage of the AFC U23 Asian Cup.
Joshua Rawlins' cross was just behind the 21-year-old, who showed incredible improvisation to acrobatically guide his finish home.
Kuol currently plies his trade with VfB Stuttgart II in Germany.
Public voting is now open on FIFA+ and will run until 23:59 CET on 3 February 2023.
FIFA will announce the three finalists in early February 2023.
