James Jeggo voted Greek Super League player of the month

James Jeggo was crowned the Greek Super League’s player of the month for October on the back of a string of standout performances for his Aris Thessaloniki.

Jeggo has been rewarded for a brilliant start to life in the Greek top flight after he claimed the October player of the month following his side’s unbeaten start to the season.

The 28-year-old midfielder has featured in all six of Aris’ matches this season after joining the club from Austria Wien in August.

He picked up his first assist of the season when he teed up Daniel Mancini in their 1-0 win against Panathinaikos at the beginning of October.

His solid performances as a defensive midfielder has also been one of the main factors behind his side’s amazing record which has seen them concede on just three occasions and keep four clean sheets in the process.
