Australia take on Korea Republic in the Quarter Finals of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™ on Saturday, 3 February at 2:30am AEDT.
This will be the 31st 'A' international meeting between the two teams and first encounter since 2019, while it is the fourth time the two nations have crossed paths in an Asian Cup.
The Socceroos drew 1-1 in the group stage in 2011, before suffering a group stage defeat four years later before exacting revenge in the Final to claim a 2-1 victory after extra time.
Graham Arnold's side topped Group B with seven points after 2-0 and 1-0 wins against India and Syria respectively before playing out a 1-1 stalemate with Uzbekistan.
The Aussies then defeated Indonesia in the Round of 16 4-0 thanks to an own goal as well as goals from Martin Boyle, Craig Goodwin and Harry Souttar.
