Daniel de Silva was selected in his first Socceroos squad for the international against Kyrgyzstan after impressing with his recent performances for the Young Socceroos.
De Silva scored a spectacular maiden goal for the Australia U-20's in a man of the match performance against Colombia during the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in a 1-1 draw.
The 18-year-old came through the ranks at Perth Glory and became the second youngest player to make their debut in the Hyundai A-League in 2013.
In June 2014 the forward signed a contract with Italian club Lazio, whom he will join next season having been loaned back to Perth Glory for the last year.
