Colombia squad named ahead of Caltex Socceroos friendly

World-class stars James Rodriguez, Radamel Falcao and Tottenham’s Davinson Sanchez have all been included in Colombia’s squad for the upcoming friendly against the Caltex Socceroos.

Bart van Marwijk’s side takes on the South American’s in London on March 28 (AEDT), just days after the clash against Norway in Oslo.

And the Aussies will face formidable opposition with the majority of Colombia’s big names in their squad.

It’s headlined by Bayern Munich playmaker Rodriguez, who is currently on loan at the German club from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Current Monaco and ex-Manchester United striker Falcao is also there, alongside Arsenal gloveman David Ospina, Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, AC Milan star Cristian Zapata and Villareal’s Carlos Bacca.

Caltex Socceroos gloveman Mat Ryan will come up against clubmate Jose Izquierdo, with the speedy winger also included.

Colombia will also take on France – who Australia play in their opening Group C clash at the 2018 FIFA World Cup – in a friendly on March 23.
