Brad Smith departs Bournemouth

Brad Smith has departed AFC Bournemouth after his contract with the English Championship club ended.

The Socceroos defender is on the hunt for a new club after his contract with Bournemouth expired last week.

The 26-year-old spent four years at the south coast club, making 11 appearances throughout his time at the Vitality Stadium.

He put his name in the history books last year after he became the first Aussie to lift the MLS trophy while on loan at Seattle Sounders.

Most recently, the Aussie left back spent the back half of the 2019/20 season on loan at Championship outfit Cardiff City where he made three appearances for the Welsh outfit as they qualified for the play-offs.
