Awer Mabil is heading to Turkey for the rest of the season, after signing a deal with Süper Lig club Kasımpaşa S.K.
The Socceroos forward is contracted to Danish outfit FC Midtjylland for the remainder of the season, but will spend the rest of the campaign in new colours.
The 26-year-old's move was announced on the final day of Turkey's transfer period.
While representing the Istanbul-based outfit, Mabil will come head-to-head with fellow Socceroo Aziz Behich.
Behich's Giresunspor sit in 16th place of the league - just one point shy of Mabil's new club Kasımpaşa, who are currently 14th.
Mabil was not named in Australia's squad for their most recent FIFA World Cup Qualifiers as his club situation unfolded, however with this fresh move secured, will be itching to build up consistent match minutes and form ahead of the Socceroos' huge match-ups with Japan and Saudi Arabia in late March.
