United Kingdom

Starting in England, where Harry Souttar will be looking to continue his impressive start to life in the Premier League when Leicester City travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United on Monday at 1am (AEDT). 

Following his debut at Villa Park a fortnight ago, Souttar experienced his maiden home match at the King Power Stadium in the Foxes last outing. 

The 24-year-old drew plaudits from many for containing Harry Kane’s presence for 90 minutes and assisting the third goal for Kelechi Iheanacho with an exquisite long ball as Leicester beat Tottenham 4-1. Souttar was also named in the Alan Shearer's team of the week for his assured performance.

In the Championship, Riley McGree started again and was substituted in the 90th minute as Middlesbrough came from behind to end promotion rivals Sheffield United's unbeaten run with a 3-1 victory on Thursday.

It was Middlesbrough's fourth straight win, and eighth in nine league games as they moved within seven points of the Blades and also tightened their grip on third place.

McGree will be aiming to continue his scintillating form when Middlesbrough face Queens Park Rangers on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

Elsewhere in the Championship, Bailey Wright played his first 90 minutes for new club  Rotherham United as they lost 2-1 to Reading on Wednesday.

Wright could appear again on Sunday when Rotherham face Coventry at 2am (AEDT).

Kenny Dougall started and played 90 minutes as Blackpool lost 2-1 against Swansea on Thursday.

Dougall should be in line to feature again on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) when the Seasiders face Stoke City.

Tom Rogic was not in the matchday squad as West Brom drew 1-1 with Blackburn Rovers on Thursday but he could be in line to return against Watford on Tuesday at 7am (AEDT).

Callum Elder was an unused substitute as Hull City lost 3-1 against Norwich City on Wednesday. He could feature on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) when Hull host Preston.

In League One, Massimo Luongo could be in line to feature for Ipswich Town FC again in a clash with Forest Green on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

In Scotland, Aaron Mooy will be looking to continue his red-hot form when Celtic host Aberdeen on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) in matchday 26 of 33 in the Scottish Premiership. 

The 32-year-old has nine goal involvements in last 11 games across all competitions as Celtic close in on back-to-back Scottish Premiership titles. 

Elsewhere in Scotland, Cameron Devlin will also be hoping to continue his positive return from injury alongside Kye Rowles, Nathaniel Atkinson and Garang Kuol when Heart of Midlothian travel to Motherwell on Sunday at 11pm (AEDT). 

Keanu Baccus and Ryan Strain's St Mirren were in action on Thursday as they suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Motherwell.

Baccus started and played another 90 minutes while Strain also started, played 79 minutes and scored his third goal of the campaign. 

It was Baccus' scuffed shot fell that into the path of Strain and he took full advantage to pull one back for St Mirren.

The pair could feature again when St Mirren face Ross County on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

Aziz Behich could also feature for Dundee United when they face off against Ryan McGowan's St Johnstone on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).

In the Scottish Championship, Dylan McGowan's Hamilton Academical face Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

Europe

In the Netherlands, Maty Ryan is likely to start again for AZ Alkmaar when they face off in a top-of-the-table clash against Feyenoord on Sunday at 7am (AEDT). 

Alkmaar are second in the Eredivisie but three points against the league leaders will take them one point clear at the top of the table. 

In Germany, Connor Metcalfe will be hoping to continue his goalscoring form alongside Jackson Irvine when St Pauli travel to FC Magdeburg on Saturday at 11pm (AEDT). 

Metcalfe made it two goals in two 2. Bundesliga games for St Pauli in their 1-0 win over FC Kaiserslautern last weekend.

Awer Mabil is a strong chance to feature for AC Sparta Prague again when they host Jablonec on Monday at 4am (AEDT) in the Czech First League. 

In France's Ligue 1, Denis Genreau could feature again when Toulouse FC host Marseille on Monday at 6:45am (AEDT).

Genreau was introduced for his first Ligue 1 appearance since October, after recovering from injury.  The midfielder played 27 minutes of Toulouse's 3-1 victory over Rennes last weekend.

In Serie B, Fran Karacic could feature when Brescia Calcio tackle Benevento on Sunday at 12am (AEDT). After losing their last five matches, Brescia currently sit in 17th position and are in desperate need of a victory. 

Jason Davidson's KAS Eupen entertain Antwerp in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

In Austria, James Holland could be in action for FK Austria Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga against Austria Lustenau on Monday at 12:30am (AEDT). Austria Wien moved into sixth with a victory in their last match. 

In Norway, Nick D'Agostino scored in a 2-0 win as Viking beat Bryne 2-0 in a friendly on Thursday. D'Agostino could feature in another friendly against Strømsgodset Toppfotball on Thursday.

Asia & The Middle East

The Japanese J1 League starts on Saturday at 4pm (AEDT) for Thomas Deng's Albirex Niigata as they look to kick off the campaign with a positive result against Cerezo Osaka. 

Niigata clinched promotion to the top division after winning the J2 League by four points last season and Deng was an integral part of that charge after returning from injury late in the season. 


Mitch Langerak is also likely to be in action for Nagoya Grampus when they face Yokohama FC on Saturday at 4pm (AEDT). 

The J2 League kicks off as Mitch Duke is in line to make his competitive debut for Machida Zelvia when they face Vegalta Sendai on Sunday at 4pm (AEDT). 

Duke transferred to Machida from Fagiano Okayama prior to the FIFA World Cup after two seasons where he scored 11 goals in 49 appearances.

Machida Zelvia are based in Tokyo and finished the 2022 season in 15th position on the J2 table.

 

In the Iranian Hazfi Cup Round of 16, Ruon Tongyik could feature for Sanat Mes Kerman against Esteghlal Mollasani on Tuesday at 9:30pm (AEDT). 

Over to Qatar, where Trent Sainsbury played another 90 minutes as Al-Wakrah SC lost 2-1 to Qatar SC on Thursday.

Sainsbury could be in action again when Al-Wakrah SC travel to Umm Salal on Wednesday at 2:55am (AEDT). 

In the Israeli Premier League, Nikita Rukavytsya may feature again when Maccabi Haifa face Ashdod on Sunday at 4:30am (AEDT). 

The United States

Preparations for the upcoming MLS season continue as Milos Degenek is likely to feature in Columbus Crew's pre season friendly against Hartford Athletic on Saturday. Columbus kick off their campaign on February 26 against Philadelphia. 

Elsewhere in the US, Brad Smith could also be in action when Houston Dynamo FC face FC Dallas in a pre season friendly on Sunday at 12:30pm (AEDT).  The Dynamo kick off their campaign on February 26 against Cincinnati.

United Kingdom

In the English Championship, goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic was an unused substitute as Huddersfield lost 3-0 against Stoke City on Thursday.

He could featured on the bench again when the Terries face Birmingham City on Sunday at 2am (AEDT).

In League One, Caleb Watts may feature for Morecambe against Peterborough United on Sunday at 2am (AEDT) after resuming full training following an injury layoff.

In League Two, Lachlan Brook came off the bench in the 60th minute for Crewe Alexandra on Wednesday as they beat Hartlepool 2-0.

Brook could be in action again when Crewe take on Harrogate Town on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). 

In Premier League 2, Cameron Peupion could be in action when Brighton & Hove Albion FC U21 face Blackburn U21 on Tuesday at 6am (AEDT). 

In the Professional U-23 Development League, Matt Dench could feature for Charlton U21 on Tuesday at 12am (AEDT) when they face Watford U21. 

Europe

In Germany, Alou Kuol may be in line to receive more first-team minutes for VfB Stuttgart when they face FC Köln on Sunday at 1:30 am(AEDT) in the Bundesliga. 

In the Netherlands, Josh Rawlins' Jong FC Utrecht host NAC on Tuesday at 6am (AEDT) in the Eerste Divisie. 

Dylan Ryan could also be in action in the Eerste Divisie when FC Den Bosch face Jong AZ Alkmaar on Saturday at 6am (AEDT). 

In Germany's 3. Liga, John Iredale could feature when SV Wehen Wiesbaden face FC Erzgebirge Aue on Saturday at 5am (AEDT).

  • In Italy's Serie A, Cristian Volpato could feature for AS Roma when they face Hellas Verona on Monday at 6:45am (AEDT). Volpato was an unused substitute in a 1-0 loss to RB Salzburg on Friday in the Europa League.
  • In Serie B, Alessandro Circati may be in action when Parma face Ascoli on Sunday at 12am (AEDT).
  • In Greece, Apostolos Stamatelopoulos is a chance to feature for PAS Giannina against Asteras Tripolis FC on Sunday at 5:00am (AEDT) in the Super League. 
  • In Croatia, Anthony Kalik may appear for Hajduk Split against HNK Gorica on Monday at 3:10am (AEDT) in the Croatian First League.

United Kingdom

  • In the English Championship, Dean Bouzanis could feature when Reading face Cardiff City on Saturday at 7am (AEDT). Bouzanis was an unused substitute on Wednesday in a 2-1 win against Rotherham. 
  • In League One, Cameron Burgess could play when Ipswich Town FC face Forest Green on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). Burgess played 90 minutes on Wednesday in a 0-0 draw with Bristol Rovers.
  • Elsewhere in League One, goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer could be in action for Charlton Athletic against Derby County on Sunday at 2am (AEDT). He also played in a 1-0 win against Forest Green on Wednesday.
  • In League Two, Tete Yengi could feature again for Northampton Town when they host Grimsby Town on Sunday at 1am (AEDT). Yengi started and played 56 minutes in a 0-0 draw against AFC Wimbledon on Wednesday.
