WATCH: Rogic on target in derby

Overnight, Celtic scored one of the biggest wins of the season in Scotland as Tom Rogic netted in a 2-1 win over local rivals Rangers.

The Hoops looked to extend their three-point lead over the Rangers to six points as they hunted a first Scottish Premiership league victory under the helm of Ange Postecoglou.

In what was a monumental clash for both sides, the start was far from what they wanted as Aaron Ramsey put the Gers ahead after three minutes of play; but Tom Rogic would be the hero for the Hoops only minutes later.

Harate's shot from distance saw Allan McGregor parry the shot right into the path of the Australian who made no mistake burying his chance right into the back of the net to restore Celtic within the game and help his side increase the gap to the Rangers by over six points leading into the business end of the season.

The 29-year-old's equaliser capped off what was a brilliant game for the former Central Coast Mariners attacking midfielder and it now puts the Bhoys with one hand on the Scottish Premiership Trophy with only a handful of games left this campaign.

Celtic face St. Johnstone next Sunday as they look to build on an impressive performance over Rangers.
