Aaron Mooy played 90 minutes as his Huddersfield Town side travelled south to face West Ham in a must-win clash.

What followed was an absolute thriller.

Huddersfield Town were 3-1 up before disaster struck

A goal to Juninho Bacuna and a double from Karlan Grant saw the Terriers lead 3-1 after Mark Noble had opened the scoring for the hosts from the penalty spot.

However, Angelo Ogbonna put the Hammers back on track and a late brace to Javier Hernandez broke Huddersfield hearts with the match ending 4-3.

Elsewhere in England, Massimo Luongo and Jackson Irvine both played the full 90 as they faced off when Queens Park Rangers took on Hull City.

The match ended 2-2 in what was a fair result on the balance of play.

Finally in the UK and Mark Milligan’s Hibernian continued their fine form under new manager Paul Heckingbottom, brushing aside Motherwell 2-0 to move to within two points of Edinburgh rivals Hearts.

There was more drama in the Bundesliga as Mat Leckie’s Hertha Berlin succumbed to an injury-time strike from Marco Reus to lose 3-2 to Borussia Dortmund.

Leckie entered the fray with 13 minutes remaining but could only watch on in horror as Reus snatched all three points.

It wasn’t nearly as close in the Eredivisie as NAC Breda were thumped 4-0 by FC Utrecht with Alex Gersbach getting another 90 minutes under his belt for NAC.

Elsewhere in Europe, Apo Giannou played the full game for AEK Larnaca as they narrowly went down to Nea Salamis 1-0 in the Cypriot First Division.

Finally, across to Asia and Matt Jurman wasn’t involved as Al Ittihad continued their fight for survival in the Saudi Pro League with a 3-0 triumph over Al-Hazm.
