Caltex Socceroos defender Milos Degenek celebrated victory in Red Star Belgrade’s home opener of the 2019/20 Serbian Super Liga.

Degenek led Crvena Zvezda to a second straight clean sheet in the 2-0 win against 2018/19 Super Liga runners up Radnicki Nis, as the defending champions maintained their perfect start to the campaign.

Serbian forward Milan Pavkov fired the former European champions into a 41st-minute lead at Rajko Mitic Stadium after the Red-Whites had dominated the opening half. 

Comoros international El Fardou Ben’s 85th-minute strike put the seal on the convincing victory, making it two wins and no goals conceded from two games for the 30-time national title-winners.
