Caltex Socceroos starlet Daniel Arzani has confirmed he’ll undergo an operation for an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The 19-year-old suffered a knee injury after falling awkwardly 20 minutes into his Celtic first-team debut against Dundee last week.
Arzani confirmed via Instagram that he's set to face an extended spell on the sidelines after meeting with a knee specialist in Europe earlier this week.
Football Federation Australia performance staff will continue to liaise with Celtic and Daniel regarding his injury and rehabilitation and provide support, advice, and expertise however required.
