TURN PERTH GOLD

Football Federation Australia is giving you a chance to experience the Socceroos in Perth like never before. 

You could attend Wednesday night's closed final training session at nib Stadium, as well as win two tickets to our qualifier against Bangladesh on Thursday September 3.

Socceroo stars Tim Cahill, Mat Ryan, Massimo Luongo and Mat Leckie headline the squad selected by coach Ange Postecoglou with excitement building ahead of the first Socceroo match in Perth since 2005.

Tickets for the match are selling fast with more than 17,000 seats already sold for what will be a great occassion, and fans are urged to Turn Perth Gold both inside the stadium and on the streets.

Iconic locations all over Perth will be lit up in gold to welcome the Socceroos from 30 August - 3 September; including the Bell Tower, the Clock Tower at entry to Kings Park, Mounts Bay Road, Victoria Ave and Council House.

The people of Perth are encouraged to help #TurnPerthGold with a chance to attend Wednesday night’s closed final training session at nib Stadium. Winners will also claim two tickets to the World Cup Qualifier on 3 September.

So how can you #TurnPerthGold and support the Socceroos? It’s quite simple!

Take a picture of yourself in all your gold finery – Socceroos shirt, a wig, some zinc, nail polish or streamers on your car – the possibilities are endless, then head to the Socceroos Facebook page and upload it under our #TurnPerthGold application tab.

The winners will be announced on the Socceroos Facebook page on the week of the game and contacted on the Tuesday before the game.
