Ticket info for FIFA Confederations Cup 2017

The Caltex Socceroos will face some of the world’s best in Russia kicking off this June, with tickets for the Random Selection Draw period closing in a few days. Here's what fans need to know.

Fans all over the world can continue to place their requests for tickets for all matches of the FIFA Confederations Cup via www.FIFA.com/tickets until Thursday, 19 January 2017, 12.00 CET (14.00 Moscow time), when the Random Selection Draw (RSD) sales period will close.

Caltex Socceroos jump in latest FIFA rankings

The current sales phase provides fans with the best chance of securing tickets for the most sought‑after matches, as all future sales phases will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The latest FIFA rankings have been released ahead of the Caltex Socceroos crucial World Cup qualifier against Saudi Arabia next week.

The FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 will take place from 17 June to 2 July 2017.

Group A will feature 

  • Russia (host nation)
  • New Zealand (OFC Nations Cup winners)
  • Portugal (UEFA EURO winners) 
  • Mexico (CONCACAF Gold Cup winners)

Group B will include

  • Germany (world champions)
  • Chile (Copa América winners)
  • Australia (AFC Asian Cup winners) 
  • and the champion from Africa (to be determined on 5 February 2017)

All ticket applications received prior to the closure of the present sales period will have the same chance of being successful no matter when they were placed.

If the demand for tickets for specific matches and price categories exceeds the available inventory, Random Selection Draws will take place to fairly allocate tickets to applicants.

Germany.

Ticket applicants will be informed no later than 28 February about whether their request has been successful.

Tickets are available for all matches of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017, including matches of the Russian team and the final.

In addition, venue-specific ticket series are available, enabling fans to watch all the matches in one Host City. The only exception is the Saint Petersburg venue package, which does not include the final.

Fans can purchase up to six tickets per match, for up to a maximum of ten matches. The total number of tickets that fans can apply for is 60 per household. The tickets purchased by 5 April 2017 will be delivered by courier service free of charge as of April 2017. Special-access tickets are also available for disabled people, people with limited mobility and obese people.
