Caltex Socceroos midfielder Massimo Luongo was on target in England overnight as QPR cruised to a big win in the Championship.

After being named in Ange Postecoglou’s Socceroos squad for this month’s World Cup Qualifiers, Luongo celebrated his call-up with his side’s fourth goal in their 5-1 win over Rotherham United.

The midfielder popped up with a clinical header from 12 yards following a teasing cross from Yeni N'Gbakoto.

Luongo’s strike was his first in a QPR shirt since moving from Swindon Town in 2015.
