Caltex Socceroos fullback Brad Smith has been rewarded for his stellar season with Liverpool at the club’s annual awards ceremony on Thursday night.

The 22-year-old was named the Premier League side’s Academy Players’ Player of the season after breaking into the first team under Jurgen Klopp during the 2015/16 campaign.
Smith won the award ahead of fellow nominees Cameron Brannagan, Sergi Canos and Kevin Stewart.
