Australian skipper Mile Jedinak’s Aston Villa made it back-to-back wins as Jonathan Kodija’s goal handed them a 1-0 triumph over Fulham.

Jedinak played a key role for 73 minutes for the Villans before he was substituted by manager Steve Bruce.

It was another huge 90-minute performance and result for Bailey Wright and Preston North End, as they won 1-0 at high-flying Norwich City.

The victory – thanks to Alex Baptiste’s 75-minute goal – moves Preston up to ninth and just three points from the play-off places.
