Aussies abroad update: McBreen bangs in a brace

Aussie striker Daniel McBreen is showing no signs of slowing down his goal-scoring exploits, bagging a brace overnight in South China’s big win over Global FC in the AFC Cup.

Aussies Abroad update: Luongo scores a double

The ex-Central Coast Mariners championship-winning star scored the opening goal inside two minutes and then doubled the visitors lead 25 minutes later as the Chinese Premier League club went on to win 6-1 in Manila.

It’s the 37-year-old’s, who won the Hyundai A-League’s golden-boot in 2013, first goals for the club since joining them last month.

"It's nice to score goals but it doesn't matter who scored as we played well and got a good result," McBreen told the South China Morning Post.

"This is my first 90 minutes for four and a half months and the more minutes I can get, the better I will play."
