Ange Postecoglou has stressed his side won't change their approach in tonight's blockbuster with Japan, saying the team's DNA is to dominate games irrespective of the scenario or opposition.

The Caltex Socceroos boss has given a final media conference on the eve of his side's mouth-watering clash with the Blue Samurai in Saitama.
DOMINATING IS IN OUR DNA
A win for either side will secure automatic qualification for next year's World Cup.
“Our intent is to dominate the game,” Postecoglou told the massive media contingent ahead of tonight's game.
“Whether that's in a physical sense or with possession or with territory.
“Which way that'll be will depend a little bit on how the opposition set up and which areas we can capitalise on.
“We'll go into the game like we have every other World Cup qualifier and that is trying to win.
“So far it's worked OK for us, so we'll take the same attitude into [this] game.
“While we respect our opposition always, we always believe we have the capability to win the game.
“That's in the team's DNA – that’s how we set up,” he said.
EVOLUTION AS IMPORTANT AS VICTORY
And while three points tonight will guarantee Australia's place at a fourth consecutive World Cup, Postecoglou insisted it wasn't the sole aim.
“It's not just about qualifying for us,” he said.
“We want to continue to evolve and become a really strong team to compete at a World Cup and do well.
“If you can beat Japan away from home, it's a good indicator that you're a strong team.
“It's not just about getting a result – it’s about playing well against a quality opponent and showing that we have progressed as a team,” he said.
