Meredith’s career began in 2004 when he signed with English Championship side Derby County however never made a first team appearance. Meredith spent the next seven seasons bouncing around English League Two and Conference sides before finding regular league football with Bradford City.

The 2012/13 season Meredith helped Bradford secure promotion to League One where he would play consistently over the next four seasons. This was highlighted during the 2016/17 season when Meredith was named in the PFA League One Team of the Season.

Meredith moved to Championship side Millwall for the 2017/18 season where he continued to play regularly. His consistent form for Millwall throughout the season has resulted in Meredith being named in his first Socceroos squad since 2015.

Best Socceroos moment:

Meredith has only made two appearances for the Socceroos in 2015, the highlight of his international career being his inclusion in this World Cup squad.
