Club: KRC Genk

Caltex Socceroos cap number: 595
Debut: 27/03/2018 v Colombia
Vukovic's first appearance for Australia at senior level remarkably came 12 years after his initial call-up for a 2007 AFC Asian Cup qualifier against Kuwait.
Then with Central Coast Mariners, with whom he would spend five seasons, the strong shot-stopper spent much of the intervening period at Perth Glory.
Initial attempts to hatch a career overseas with Konyaspor and Vegalta Sendai didn't work out, but a commanding 2016/17 campaign for Sydney FC finally catapulted Vukovic into a starting position with Belgian outfit Genk and a welcome first appearance for the Caltex Socceroos.
Best Caltex Socceroos moment:
Vukovic's protracted Caltex Socceroos debut eventually arrived on his 33rd birthday in March. He gave away a penalty late in the match but atoned for the error by beating away the spot-kick to preserve a 0-0 draw with Colombia.
Hyundai A-League connection:
Vukovic has lent his glovework to six different Hyundai A-League clubs, with his 278 appearances in the competition bettered only by Andrew Durante.
Did you know?
When he converted a penalty for Wellington Phoenix in February 2011, Vukovic became the first and only goalkeeper to have scored in the Hyundai A-League.
