Coca Cola Australia today announced the details for fans eager to be a part of history as the FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca Cola hits Australian shores for one day on Friday March 17, 2006.

The global journey is the first extensive tour of the one-of-a-kind, solid-gold FIFA World Cup Trophy, which is rarely seen in public outside the nation winning the FIFA World Cup™.

With 3,000 free tickets on offer, consumers will be asked to enter a competition to win their chance to be a part of history through a five day long competition with The Daily Telegraph starting on Monday, 6 March and concluding on Friday, 10 March. Consumers will also be given the chance to win tickets through an on-line competition with FOXSPORTS.com.au.

1,000 lucky winners will not only get the chance to see the sporting icon but will also have their photograph taken with the trophy, and will receive a souvenir photo and frame to remember this once in a lifetime experience.

In addition to being one of 3,000 Australians to view the Cup in close proximity, fans will be entertained by an array of exciting football related activities and sporting personalities at The Overseas Passenger Terminal, Circular Quay, Sydney.

The public Trophy Tour experience scheduled here includes a specially created, short feature film that builds to the unveiling of the actual FIFA World Cup Trophy.
