Tomi Juric

What a rise it’s been for this young striker. He’s now challenging Tim Cahill for that central striker role in the Socceroos and is now an ACL and Asian Cup winner after an unforgettable 2014 and '15.

After sweeping home a sensational goal against Oman in the group stage, it was his absolute determination that created the chance for Troisi to smash home the Asian Cup final winner in Sydney on January 31, 2015.

Juric spent much of his developing years in Croatia before a return home with Adelaide United got him noticed.

This resulted in a move to the Wanderers where he was pivotal in the club’s 2014 ACL-winning campaign.

Another striker who’ll be part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans as Australia aim to qualify for Russia 2018, his energy and power up front will be hugely important.
